coop1984 Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Hello our OWA has stopped working on our server (Exchange 2003). We get the error: HTTP/1.1 503 Service Unavailable Can anybody help? Thanks
apearce Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 A few things to check - sorry if you have already done some of these. Preform a IISRESET on the server Are you all you services started? Restart all your Exchange services Restart you server. Are you publishing it through ISA2006?
coop1984 Posted April 26, 2008 Author Posted April 26, 2008 Hello yes I have tried all the below, and it is not published through ISA 2006.
Iosoma Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Ive had this problem, our backups had failed and the server started filling up with temp files. No free disk space knocked off OWA. Check your C:!
apearce Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 it could have something to do with the site application - what error messages do you get in the event log?
apearce Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 A few other questions and things to check. Even though your 'Exchange Information Store' has started - are the databases mounted in Exhange management console? What service pack are you on for exchange 2003? How big is your database?
timbo343 Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 I occasionally got this on 2003, another reason why i moved to 2007. Check your Microsoft Information Store has started correctly.. If it dont start, your schema server doesnt work. Also, check in system manager... locate the mailboxs and make sure they have been mounted.
Ryan Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Then try this: Start > Run net stop rxWriterSvc then net start rxWriterSvc We have an issue with BackupExec chewing up memory and forces IIS and a few other services to throw a hissy fit. Lemme know if this sorts it.
coop1984 Posted April 28, 2008 Author Posted April 28, 2008 Unrecognised command. Problem still exists
apearce Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 @coop - did you manage to check my last list - let me know the information and I'll see what I can come up with.
coop1984 Posted April 28, 2008 Author Posted April 28, 2008 An error we keep getting is Initialization of external interface OLEDB failed; Error ecServerOOM. All databases are mounted Its R2 SP 2.
