Letter Templates Missing

Hi

 

When I go to Reports > Attendance > Letters > Print Letters, on one particular PC, it comes up with a blank list, but other computers have templates listed. Does anyone know why this is and how to fix it?

We've literally just had this problem!

 

You have to amend the SIMS.ini on C:\Windows

 

Here is the snip from SupportNet our Sims Manager found:

[TD]This is caused by an incorrect SIMSDirectory being entered in the SIMS.ini file. On the affected machine please go to C:\Windows and open the SIMS.ini. The SIMSDirectory line must point to the correct location of the SIMS folder that contains \Attend\Templates.

For example, if the Template location on the machine is C:\SIMS\Attend\Templates then the SIMS.ini needs to have:

SIMSDirectory=C:\SIMS

The affected user must also have full read, write and modify access to the SIMS\Attend\Templates location.
