IT Signage

Hi All,

 

We have a digital signage board for IT, we only have a few run of the mill signs on it, install office, contact details, how to print from your own device etc.

 

Want to snazz it up a bit, maybe through a few IT memes in there (be down with the kids -westside-). Anyone else have their own signage, what kind of stuff do you display?

We have internal signage that we have PRTG maps and graphs on. This seems to grab most attention and draw interest. It also shows a list of room bookings that require IT facilitation. We are thinking about getting a few more screens so we can put live documentation up on the walls, rather than the classic print out and it be out of date 2 minutes later!

 

Other than that I've thought about a small sign outside our door to put messages, tips and other little tidbits on but I'm not cool enough to be down with the kids so no help their sorry!

If it were me, I'd be tempted to include some quick tips (keyboard shortcuts, that sort of thing).

 

As for being down with the kids, just know that the once surefire tactic of having a cartoon dog wearing shades, red sneakers, back-to-front cap, skateboarding and performing an "IT rap" is no longer considered "cool" any more, so I'm out of ideas there.
