russdev Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 Must admit me and other half do want a wii (any nice supplier want to attempt to bribe me feel free ) but can't afford it at moment.. Russ
GrumbleDook Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 Wii Sport was fantastic but we have found some of the other games are a bit lame ... picking the right game for the Wii is not nice ... there still is not a good enough range for me. We are likely to get Wii Fit after the next pay day.
russdev Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 Main thing for us is we don't want Jamie growing up sitting in front of a console/computer all day (heck he has already got odds stacked against him due to his parents ). So we like the wii's active element to it.. off to find a supplier of course that is a joke I can never be bribed (but would like a supplier to try) Russ
SimpleSi Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 Love to get one but two problems 1. No spare cash after buying Mario Kart 2. I doubt if the boards are rated at 22 stone regards Simon
tech_guy Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 I was going to get one then realised I'd spill my beer whilst doing the jogging bit....
clarky2k3 Posted April 25, 2008 Author Posted April 25, 2008 Apperently you can get a person up to 23st 8lbs on it!
Sirbendy Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Wii fit will wait for a drop in price before my missus gets it..heh.
plexer Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 The range of games for the wii is getting bigger. I signed up to swapgame.com to rent games for £5 a month and got a free copy of brain academy at the time with nintendo magazine. I've now had ghost squad for a couple or 3 weeks. Ben
PeterW Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 I was going to get one then realised I'd spill my beer whilst doing the jogging bit.... Warning drinking beer and playing the Wii can seriously damage your front room, I smashed a light fitting playing tennis
plexer Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 (edited) The wife picked a wii fit up from tesco and did her back in Not really but she did get one, so it only cost £14 something. Ben Edited April 25, 2008 by plexer
SimpleSi Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Apperently you can get a person up to 23st 8lbs on it! Well - one issue down The wife picked a wii fit up from tesco and did her back in Not really but she did get one, so it only cost £14 something. Really? plexer Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 No we had £50 of tesco vouchers as we moved our car insurance to them. Ben
