Hi folks,

We’ve got some desktop PCs we’ve fitted with USB wireless and also some new Lenovo laptops that are slow to connect to the wireless (latest drivers are installed). The knock on effect is some drive scripts don’t run because the logon (with cached credentials) happens ahead of the network connection. We do have the GPO “Always wait for the network at computer startup and logon” enabled, but curiously this doesn’t seem to have any effect.

Anyone come across this problem and found a fix?

Thanks

Have you checked that the setting "Always wait for the network at computer startup and logon" is actually applying to the PC if you check resultant set of policy?
