I've got all 400 PC's here on 1809 and it's pretty much rock solid, haven't rebuilt a PC due to OS issues since the roll-out at Christmas. Makes a pleasant change from the nightmare three months we ran 1709 which I never ever want to repeat again!!! I'm not planning to even look at 1903 other than on a test PC or two....

Hopefully they are big enough! 80gb - Small but the best we could afford in 2012 - I'm forever thankful that we managed to swing the extra cash for them (& 8gb ram) as we've had zero budget since then to replace them so they're doing pretty well. We manage ok with them, but when we have extras like Adobe CC installed in some rooms we have to be extra careful - Especially with nasty realtek audio drivers that are quite happy taking up nearly 10gb of useless inf files when installed! I think only 1607 was bad for us, that was terrible with Window updates if I remember correctly. Yea to say 1607 is slow at updates is an understatement - It's what server 2016 is based off and a major reason I've pushed out Server 2019 is because the updating is a billion times better!!

Am guessing you implement the GPO to delete old profiles after so many days?!
DrCheese Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 Aye, tho we have it disabled on admin computers & set to a high level on teacher computers (As those are rarely logged onto beyond a few people) We then just keep an eye on usage via tools like Netsupport DNA.

Yeah you've got to use that with GPO with extreme caution
