sluggster66 Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 Hi I have setup a one way trust with another domain. I need them to access our RDS setup. I can login to Domain A with users from domain B into our RDS servers when logging in from our domain but can’t when accessing from the internet. I get an error In the logs saying unable to authenticate. Any ideas would be great.
mukz Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 Have you ‘allowed to authenticate’ against the rds server computer object? -just reread what you wrote and it works onsite so not sure this would work
kmount Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 Have you allowed it through the RD Gateway CAP/RAP presuming you're using the gateway.
mcrompton01 Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 We had this issue and found this resolved it for us: (If a user from a child domain or same level domain or parent domain has an issue with access denied) 1. Open Active Directory Users and Computers on any Domain Controller from the remote domain in which the users belong to. 2. Add the Computer Name of the Remote Desktop Gateway to the RAS and IAS Servers group.
