I loved snipping tool.... till i started using the new Screenshot tool in MoJave, so much better and easier to use also does video!

Woo! New shortcut learned- snipping tool is probably our favourite thing ever here! As long as there's still the same function we'll be happy.

I'm surprised snipping tool took so long to come into fruition. Various Linux desktop managers have had a snip tool for ages. Back in the XP days, I ran KDE (which was painfully slow on Windows boxes) just to get the excellent snipper.

Yeah, Shift CMD 4 is superior, but from a "giving teachers small amounts of IT CPD" perspective, introducing them to the snipping tool is better than letting them fester in some other elaborate scheme of their own devising*

Probably is, but I'm on an 13" Early 2011 MBP that doesn't support Mojave.

 

Mostly 'cos it's working fine and (when testing in-store) I haven't found anything that fits my needs better.
