Lock N Charge Basket Handles cracking

Is anyone using Lock N Charge Trolleys with the Baskets for carrying iPads/Chromebooks? https://www.lockncharge.com/eu/

 

We use them and find that the handles, after a while, crack in the middle. We have had so many new handles sent to us by Lock N Charge but they all end up the same way eventually. We hold all Chromebooks centrally so students come to us to pick up baskets.

 

Anyone else using Lock N Charge? Do you have any issues with the handles cracking?

Yes we have exactly the same issue and have been through lots of handles in the 2 years we’ve had the trolleys.

 

It seems like the latest batch of handles have been revised, and have a slightly more reinforced centre section. We haven’t had any breakages of the new type so hopefully this has sorted the problem.

Hmm - we have a bunch of Lock-'n'-Charge cabinets in classrooms, and no teacher has yet reported an issue with the handles. The devices are mostly used within the classrooms, being removed individually from the cabinet, so the carriers aren't used to lug stuff around the school much. These were installed last year, so it could be we have a more recent version that doesn't have the issue. Something to check, though, as our teachers don't always report issues.

We had issues initially with the handles but as geohanson mentions, we have found the latest batch to be strengthened and we've not had an issue so far.
