Nausing Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 Hi all, I need to change some of the text colours for a student who has some visual impairments. The issue is our student profiles are mandatory and wont save anywhere after she logs out. What is a good way to do this? Thanks
BKGarry Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 I have done this before, I saved a Microsoft theme file in a shared location and set that theme file through GPO in login for the user. This was under windows 7 for the export though.
christhetech Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 Could she use cerium overlays? That way, you would not have to change anything, and she would have just a single coloured overlay that would enable her to read the text on any screen. I'm assuming of course, that it is just the text colour that is causing the issue and not the font size.
BKGarry Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 There is also an application called colorveil just an exe that does the job. 1

BKGarry Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 I could kiss you You'll start rumours ;-) Glad to have been of help, I deployed it with group policy files, just copied it down, and within an hour I saw a lot of our students who require overlays using it and customising it to their needs. It's free, simple and easy to turn on and off.
