PaperCut and ParentPay

Dear all,

 

We have a new installation of PaperCut and ParentPay ITS Gateway and have an issue with obtaining printing balances from ParentPay. The ITS gateway is able to see our ParentPay user accounts but registers a balance of zero for each user.

 

I believe the issue is due to the ParentPay printing item being setup incorrectly as it doesn't show a printing balance for users in ParentPay itself in the same way as a user would have a catering balance.

 

Does anyone have a functioning PaperCut/ParentPay ITS gateway setup that could confirm some settings for me, specifically:

 

1. What the ParentPay Item should be named.

2. Confirm if indeed the ParentPay item for printing should have a user balance in ParentPay and how this should be configured.

We had the ParentPay ID incorrectly set in the end. To answer my second question, the PaperCut gateway does not show user balances within ParentPay, it merely receives any new credits into PaperCut and then adjusts PaperCut user balances accordingly.
