Why don't IT teacher tell the kids about copyright in their lessons???

 

Oh - hang on - they do - again and again OK - I did and every IT teacher I know did ymmv

 

It's just that no-one listens - especially other school staff - including SMT ("no I won't put that image on the website" - record and play back ad infinitum)

 

everyone just assumes that if you can do it - then it's OK to do it

 

I used to tell people (teachers, kids, parents, governors, aliens etc etc) that is is like seeing someone's mobile on a table - so then it's OK to take it and use it

 

but they still didn't listen

 

(BTW - this is me and lessons here - but I'm sure Germany is the same)
