Gmail - administration of mailbox delegations

Hi all

 

I'm looking for a way to set up various delegations on user mailboxes in GAFE gmail. Searching around on the issue only seems to throw up the end-user method of setting up delegates (i.e. Gmail -> Settings -> Accounts -> Grant access to your account). I'm looking for a way to set up all of our various delegations across the domain, without having to get end users to do anything. I can't see any options in the Google Admin dashboard, so it looks like the Gmail API is going to be the only way to do this.

 

Is anyone making use of the Gmail API for something similar? If so, any tips on getting up and running with something to make API calls?

Thanks, that looks like the tool to use.

 

Seems to not want to work behind a proxy, though.

+1 for GAM. We use it for a lot of things that can't be done in the admin interface.

After installing it onto one of our laptops and getting online through a phone hotspot, I've now got GAM up and running. Successfully working through a list of needed delegations
