Good morning.

I'm trying to fix a Macbook Air that has Sierra OS installed.

When I click on Safari I get a popup window saying SafariBookmarksSyncAgent quit unexpectedly.

As a results of this I cannot use Safari at all.

I managed to install Google Chrome so I can access the internet but it would be good to fix Safari.

I don't know much about Mac but I read that I cannot reinstall Safari as it is part of OS now.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I guess you could boot into the recovery mode (cmd + r), select the reinstall option and reinstall the OS. As long as you don't wipe the drive first, it will just download a fresh copy of macOS and install it in between your files and everything should boot as it was. Could be worth a go!
