Timetable - Class allocation

It's that time of year where Heads Of Department receive their timetables for next year.

 

Is there any module within SIMS that will help allocate classes to teachers fairly and squarely? Or, is there any software around that can do this?

I know that Nova-T is used to create the timetable but allocation to teachers is left to the Heads of Department here and those are then entered into SIMS .Net.

 

There are members of staff with huge sheets of paper getting terribly confused.

Yes there is a program known as Options which sorts out this issue. You can get a good idea of how people use this by posting a question on SupportNet. You are probably already licenced for Options.
