Job/Person Summary

Bishop Challoner is a very popular, oversubscribed and successful Catholic school serving the Catholic Community of Basingstoke and surrounding areas. Bishop Challoner was judged by Ofsted in May 2018 as GOOD with OUTSTANDING features.

The Headteacher and his Leadership Team have established a strong ethos of care and ambition for all. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated IT Network Manager who can demonstrate excellent knowledge and practice, with a commitment to sustaining our high standards. They will have previous experience of managing and controlling all technical aspects of a school's network to meet the needs of both administrative and curriculum requirements.

 

The Successful Candidate will be responsible for:

- Managing and maintaining all IT hardware and software.

- Maintaining servers, switches and security systems including door access control systems

- Administering Office 365 systems

- Maintaining stock levels for systems

- Supporting the IT technician

- Training staff on new and existing systems and hardware

- Department budget and implementation of new installations

- Managing updates and new modules on school website CMS

- Manage and maintain school follow me print system

 

With the following skills and/or knowledge of:

- Hyper V,

- SCCM,

- Server 2008-2016,

- Deployment of Windows 10 via SCCM

- Administering Office365,

- Group policy management

- SAN
