E_G_R2 Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 Anyone got any thoughts on these? I want to feed a internal webpage to some touch/interactive screens so that pupils can check their timetable for music lessons and tuition. Looking at a low cost way of getting the page to the screen and thought these might do the job.
Clevertouch_Rob Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 We use Aopen ChromeBox Mini's here. No complaints. 24/7 use etc. Just note that it will be limited to a single point of touch. 1
Arthur Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 The current range of Chromeboxes are quite old now* so you might be better off waiting for one of the new models below to be released (which also support Android apps too). HP Chromebox G2 Asus Chromebox 3 Acer Chromebox CXI3 * Check Google's Auto Update Policy to find out when Chrome OS updates stop. A Chromebox is going to be a lot less hassle to setup and manage compared to a Windows 10 PC. 1
