[sims] NovaT6 and hosted SIMS

Any advice on where to go with Timetabling now we have migrated to Hosted SIMS would be very welcome.

 

Our issue is we have an external timetabler who in the past has sent us the timetable as a file which we imported into NovaT6 and then one of the admin staff did a bit of magic and populated our students to the appropriate classes and all went well. Sadly, that person is no longer on the staff and no one else currently has 'the knowledge'.

What difference does hosted make? Can you still run Nova?

I'd assumed the in-school Timetabler had done that before mentioning it to me. Just checked NovaT6 runs fine - they didn't even have a Dataset loaded!

I do the timetabling and my colleague in admin puts the kids into classes. I did the training with her but I'm afraid I forgot to put a stopper in one ear. Seemed like a PITA IIRC
