We are recruiting a Network Manager to join us this summer, reporting to the Resource Director and joining the wider Resources Department, you will lead the team of two skilled IT Technicians. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and support of the Academy’s IT network, including the network infrastructure, servers and associated storage.

 

Our ideal candidate will have experience of working with Windows 2012/2008 Servers & Windows Desktops (7/10) and Microsoft Active Directory or Group Policy. Knowledge of some of the systems we use including SIMs; Office 365; SCCM; Hyper-V; Storage Attachment Networks and Network Topologies would be advantageous.

 

You will be a professionally qualified candidate, with great interpersonal and communication skills to lead our friendly and supportive team, eager to learn and grow. You will work well under pressure and be flexible, willing to take ownership and problem solve effectively. Experience of leading a team is not essential as training and support will be provided.

 

In return you will join a forward thinking department, predominantly working 36 hours per week Monday to Friday, however some on-call cover at key holiday times will be required. You will be based on site in a well-resourced department which is looking to grow and expand our offering to the Academy. You will receive 29 days holiday per year plus 8 bank holidays and a salary of between £32-36k dependent on your level of experience and what you can bring to the Academy.Network Manager.docx
