Hi all,

Bit of a long shot this one,

We have an oldish Dell SAN (Dell PowerVault MD3220) that we need to reset the password on, however we don't have the horrendous cable that comes with the SAN so we are a bit stuck.

I don't suppose anyone has a CT-109 cable that we could borrow and send back straight away at all, really don't want to buy a cable (upwards of £80) to change the password once!

Hopefully someone out there can help!

Thanks

I know I'm not going to be very helpful with this but I was looking for one of those about a year ago and couldn't find one ANYWHERE!

The thing i did find was the Dell backdoor password. Take a look at this thread: https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/575562-how-to-reset-powervault-md3000i-to-factory

I found that i had to download the utility from Dell and a found a username/password combi of shellUsr/DF4m/2> that worked!

I hope it helps?
