Found a great little site courtesy of UK.GOV which has an ICS file (calendar entries) for UK bank holidays until the end of 2019.

The site covers England\Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland in seperate downloads.

There’s one you can add in to Google calendars that I have used for years. I assumed most, if not all, calendars had a similar feature.

Generally I haven't seen Business calendars, such as the one in Outlook 2016 or Outlook 365 auto populated with this information.

 

Though I have seen personal Outlook.com and Google accounts with an additional holidays calendar option.

Google Suite certainly does. Add Calendar > Browse Calender's of Interest > regional holidays

If they are anything like Lancashire schools it would be far too variable!

I thought this one was good because I use Outlook as part of Office 365 and does not automatically import things like.

Also given that there is such a difference between the UK regions it is quite handy.

Its in the outlook options and has been for years File > Options > Calendar then "Add Holidays" button, tick the countries you are interested in and boom it does it.

That's very interesting... as I have that ticked by default for the UK, and don't see any.

Me too (whilst not realising that option was even there).

Yes I have for UK and other places hence me saying, suggest untick, close and re-open perhaps?

Untick, Retick, OK without closing the Window appears to do it. How very odd! Cheers.
