newpersn Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 Do you have your all main switches (Main Switch in each cab) sit on your network? Do you have all of them on the same vlan?
Davit2005 Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 We have 650 switches here, we have started putting big areas of switches to their own individual vlans during refurb or on roll out. All switches are managed with specific naming format and DNS entries created for ease. 1
HPlum78 Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 I have in the main part had all my switches on the network and on a management vLAN with ACL's that control access to them and then some added protection for logging in by using RADIUS. That said I have seen all kinds of setups in my time! 1
chris11256 Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 All of our switches are managed and go onto a management vlan, which is then through an ACL only accessible from the IT Administrative vlan. 1
