selling on projectors advice

Hi,

We have removed a large number of projectors, mainly Epson EB-420's and EB-520s, and was wondering if anyone knows of any companies who would buy the projectors at all?

It seems a waste to throw them away when they are still functioning, but to sell them on ebay would take an age and the school is not entirely sure how this would work with money and which budgets it would go back in to.

We have tried contacting local schools, but none are keen as there are then support issues that are then required.

 

We are going to end up with another 60+ this summer, they are more standard throw though.

 

Any ideas would be greatfully received.

selling them on ebay isn't too difficult but like you said it can come down to what budget pot do they go into(i vote IT as they are technical equipment and can be used to offset future purchases). Maybe look at indoor projection mapping companies if they are still bright and clear. Either that or offer them to staff for home cinema setups.

If you offer them to staff make sure they know that any home based support for them may incur a cost!!
