nicholab Posted March 8, 2018 Posted March 8, 2018 Can you recommend me a HDMI over cat 5 that only has psu on the sending end? I not sure about using two cat 5 cables as I might want to use the second for a vga link. Also can anyone recommend an hdmi audio extractor. Anything that is does not cost the earth considered.

(Just noticed that's what DalekSec has linked to above!) But as a norm we use Extron DTP kit - it does need shielded Cat6 though. Audio de-embedding - to what level do you want it extracted to? 2ch? 2.1? 5.1? 7.1?
