Theldron Posted March 7, 2018 Posted March 7, 2018 Hi all, We have a load of Stone Laptops (Clevo W76OC) and out of curiosity was wondering if there was a BIOS update for it? The date of the current BIOS version is 11/05/2010. I have tried the Clevo website and I have contacted Stone, but at the moment no luck. Cheers
ShellfishClive Posted March 7, 2018 Posted March 7, 2018 Looks like that is the lastest BIOS update they have released. They are fairly old machines so I suppose they are now in their legacy age.
Chris_ Posted March 7, 2018 Posted March 7, 2018 The RM Notebook 300 is based on the Clevo W760C, there's an RM BIOS here: http://support.rm.com/technicalarticle.asp?cref=tec1764370 Not sure if it's newer than what you're currently running. It reports at v1.00.09
Theldron Posted March 8, 2018 Author Posted March 8, 2018 Hi both, Thanks for that. I have double checked the BIOS version and we have got 1.00.08 so can upgrade. Sadly with budgets at the moment (or lack of) I need to keep all 20 going for a bit longer yet.

I have looked everywhere. I am a big boy I am not going to cry.

If you need it I can send you a copy of my BIOS file (not sure of version ) but it allows you to boot from LAN. Sorry to dig up an old thread but worth a try as I cant find an update anywhere.
