ICX Write Error

Hi,

 

We have a stack of for Brocade ICX 7750's We have an error know that when we run write memory it is failing to copy to the 3rd and 4th members. These two are across our site with single mode fiber in between.

 

Has anyone come across this before?

If you are within 90 days of purchase or have taken the support bundle, I would suggest calling the TAC line. Failing that your reseller’s engineering team might help. I will ask our engineering team today. Have you checked your single mode modules for errors?

We are passed the 90 days although we have now heard back from ruckus as they now own the ICX part of Brocade. They have said that it is just a cosmetic error and that they are actually saving the config across the stack. We may have to look at upgrading to the latest firmware although short term we may have to find a maintenace windows and reload the stack.

 

I have checked the errors on the stacking ports and there aren't any errors
