We are using local profiles in a 2012 domain.

Currently have an issue with Chrome and students creating a shortcut on the desktop to C:

 

We have used GP to block Chrome from accessing File:/// (working) but the Students can then drag that URL to the desktop, which in turn creates a working shortcut to C:

 

For now we have restricted the use of Chrome, but struggling to find a resolution to this shortcut issue. Probably missing something very obvious.

 

Anybody encountered this issue?
