Apple Configurator error

Hi,

 

Has anyone come across this? Its just on one device I am trying to managed but it fails each time. Apple support told me to hard wipe the devie with itunes but its still failing. I've opened the activity window and its when its downloading the activation record. Its not my FW as I've done other iPads and have even tried by tethering on my 4G.

I have had this happen multiple times when setting up our ipads. I have no idea why it happens but I am able to get around it by completing the setup manually on the ipad up to entering the wifi details (enter the wifi password/proxy details and click next but do not continue further after it has gone throught he activation section) then you can go back to apple configurator and run the perpare/blueprint option you use.

Have you tried using 3U Tools 3uTools | iOS jailbreak & flash tool to wipe/flash the iPad.. I've used it to revive an iPad that iTunes couldn't restore..
