nathan3388 Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 We have a iPad that is in a boot loop I have tried restoring the iPad and it got through the first stage and applies the image and the firmware. When it boots for the second time it has the progress bar comes up and gets to a quarter and then restarts. Has anyone got a fix or know why it is in a boot loop or any software that is free to diagnose and test ourselves? any advise would be appreciated Thanks Nathan

nathan3388 Posted February 6, 2018 Author Posted February 6, 2018 tried both of them and got nothing at all . is there away of assigning and old iOS to the device the putting the latest one on as I think when the teacher has done the update that it was connected to power to start the update off but then disconnected when on the install screen and then its battery has died.
robsonma Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 I did have this a while ago, If I remember correct, While Turned off, We held down the Home button and Power button untill the apple logo appears, then it boots up try another restore , sounds like the IOS has currupt while installing.
