How to change the colour on the login screen

Recommended Posts

We have branded our windows 10 install with our wallpaper and colours.

However i'm unable to find the location in GPo editor which allows me to change the colour of the middle screen below:

The blue looks totally out of place with our colours. Does anybody where i can change this?

We use this screen as our AUP.

Cheers

I think it follows the accent color of the last logged in user. Try setting the install theme key for the default user.

I've not had a need to change it, the blue fits my branding.

"Force a specific background and accent colour" GPO requirements are 2012 r2, 8.1 only.

This doesn't seem to work. what do you mean by "install theme key"? Am i approaching this the wrong way?

Thanks for your input.

We created a Theme with an accent colour, applied this using GPO.

Can you provide any more info on this please?

Is your wallpaper part of the theme file or separately via gpo?

I assume it's something along the line of...

Setup on pc as wanted.

Export "theme" and save to network location

deploy theme via gpo?

thanks in advance

We got rid of the holding image that you have to swipe away, was just annoying. Now on boot you're presented with the login screen straight away, with a blue background, the "sad cyclops" image replaced with our school logo and the "Other User" text replaced with our school name. Deployed via GPO, mixture of file replace and registry settings.
