FN-GM Posted February 3, 2018 Posted February 3, 2018 Hello, Does anyone know anything (preferably online) that helps with spelling? I am looking for something that will allow you to programme your own words and then test you by reading out the words aloud. Preferably you can save the word list to you can go back at a later date. Thanks 1
Edu-IT Posted February 4, 2018 Posted February 4, 2018 I’m not sure if you can program your own words but something like Lexia?
ADMaster Posted February 4, 2018 Posted February 4, 2018 spelling city is a site our staff use. Mobymax has a spelling module we use their site as well. 3
gsk Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 I would like to get something like this going. Spelling city would be absolutely ideal - if it could do UK english.
gsk Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 I would like to get something like this going. Spelling city would be absolutely ideal - if it could do UK english. Update - Spelling City will still get correct definitions and mark according to your spelling list in UK English. It's just the voice that remains American, which I don't see as a big deal - it's no different to a teacher in school having an accent IMO.
Alawil Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 We use spellingshed on iPads and it’s great. The QR capability enables spelling lists to be shared easily. 1
steveg Posted March 13, 2018 Posted March 13, 2018 My daughter uses Squeebles for her spelling - we can record the words for her, and it tests here. Haven't had a chance to trial it at work yet, but they seem to do quite a few school apps Schools Steve
