Teamviewer on Chromebooks

Is there any way to get Teamviewer running on a Chromebook that is managed via a Google Admin Edu account?

 

When we try to access Google Play we get an 'unexpected error has occured. Please try again later'.

 

If we try to add it via the Teamviewer for Chrome page we get an 'Oops Teamviewer extension is blocked by the administrator'.

 

We've had issues getting our Chromebooks running with Netsweeper, have now managed to get them on our Google domain and Schools Broadband want to remote on to one and have a look.

Can you not whitelist the app?

For the unexpected error has occurred for Google Play, under admin console, apps, additional Google Services, is Google Play enabled for the organisation the user is in?

Can you not avoid all of this by just using the Web Client? That'll avoid any issues with extensions or Admin apps.
