Tefters Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 It’s awesome, already sank 4 hours myself, you will love it if you loved theme hospital however can be a bit repetitive as money doesn’t really seem to be an issue?!?!
bald_pig Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 I sank 3.5 hours into from 1AM Sunday morning!
Steve21 Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 Money certainly seems to be an issue later in the game Especially when all the patients coming require rooms you have to research etc before building 3 star'd the first dozen or so no problem, and now hit one I've failed to even 1 start it twice, so gone back to an old level to do research first
Garacesh Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 3-Star'd the first hospital, up to 2 stars on the second. I think I might have derped myself on that one though, I bought all of the wings and then it turns out I have to get 65% attractiveness.. And I'm only using 2 of the buildings so there's just 2 empty ones (presumably) bringing my attractiveness % down! Oops! It's everything I expected from a Theme Hospital redo, from the dad-joke-diseases like Mock Star (which makes you think you're Freddie Mercury), Lightheadedness (which makes your head a lightbulb) and Jest Infection (which turns you into a clown), to the cynical and sarcastic tannoy announcements. Loving it so far!
Steve21 Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 You can just add attractions to the empty room/wing, mass plant plants! Did the same with the radiator one for temperatures when you get to that. Steve
Garacesh Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 Yeah I figured as much That was the plan! But by that point I think it was around 2am and I wanted to go to bed lol.
Davit2005 Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 I found one strange issue where you can have a pateint waiting at a bed in a ward waving his arms nd is jus ignored, and this is with having more than enough nurses all with Ward Management skills. The simple solution I found was to pick up the bed and move it.
bennz Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 It's a good fun game but I haven't really returned to it since I smashed it after release, Project Hospital is another one that's been just released, smacks of early access but is a quality hospital sim.
Garacesh Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 I picked it up on release and played a fair chunk of it, I'm maybe 4 hospitals in now, and I think I'll be leaving it for a little while before going back to it. I don't wanna rush through it, it'll be my 'Eh, I've got an hour to kill' game.
Davit2005 Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 Project Hopsital looks good, very indepth though and graphics not as fluid but prob expected given the detail.
sonofsanta Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 Oh man I just got this on Monday night and I have been so exhausted all week at work as a result. It is, in every which way, just a perfect update of Theme Hospital. I was instinctively dragging out GPs' offices as 6x4 with windows everywhere until someone else in my office said you should just plaster every wall you can with the Silver Star award to get the prestige up. 3x3 rooms covered in ego-stroking certificates it is, then It's very easy so far--first two hospitals 3*--but I gather it gets much more frenetic later on, and suspect part of the ease for me is I already know exactly how to play the game. I can tell I am getting old when my favourite new game is one that acts exactly like an old game I already know. None of the new innovation for me, lad! Just a nice warm comfort blanket of nostalgia!

Very much so. Especially as you take on patients with more and more illnesses. You won't be disappointed.
