SCCM (again) - PXE problem on single PC

I have one single PC (in the same collection as many others) that isn't PXE booting correctly...

 

It start the PXE boot, thens its at "contacting server" forever

 

I know it's not a network issue, as it's on our workbench, and is used to build multiple machines. I can't see that its'a problem with the collection it's in as other machines added at the same time, into the same collection are working.

 

I've removed and re-added the PC

 

Can anyone suggest anything?

Check the time and date in the BIOS? iv known that to cause issues

That's all set correctly

Definitely the same mainboard version as the rest of the machines? I had one machine that wouldn't PXE only to find that on inspection of the in warranty machine, some engineer decided to change the board at some point to another flavour completely different to the others....

yup - everything the same there as well

I've had this in the past and I now make sure if I deploy something I deploy it twice, once to 'known computers' (i.e. a group I've created in SCCM that they are part of) and also to 'unknown computers' just in case SCCM gets confused or throws a wobbly.

NIC / board hardware fault?

Dodgy network cable?

 

I've had a few strange issues before, 1 being will not image on a 100MB link and 2 needed to change around tftp settings for certain models.
