Hi all can anyone recommend a office phone that has a do not disturb feature.

Not IP phone just a bog standard phone with a feature to not have the phone ring at a press of a button.

Yes I have advised to take the phone off the hook and turn the volume of the ringer down/off

the stupid stuff I have to deal with.

Is it to fit into an existing system or a standalone?

Most phone systems I would imagine have a DND feature or redirect all to answer phone by dialing a code/pressing a button.

I've only ever know this feature to be available on phone systems with the handsets supplied by said supplier. Most VoIP handsets seem to have this but standard BT phones don't that I'm ever aware of.

Our Samsung system does it by dialing a code ie: 600 - cancel all divert, 601 - forward all calls, 604 - busy/no answer, 401 - DND, 400 - Cancel DND

I'm 99.9% certain it's not tied to using a Samsung handset (I'm sure I've set/canceled the options on an analog non samsung handset connected to it)

I do understand how google works :)

I did ask for a recommendation as I'm sure someone has been asked this question.

I love how people think that by searching Google you'll get the best thing listed first!

Word of mouth is always better - if it wasnt this forum would not exist and we'd all just search Google and end up with a mess.

If people send me links to LMGTFY then they go to the bottom of the pile!

You may not need a phone with an actual button - a lot of phone systems have that feature and you have to enter a Feature Code on the phone to turn it on/off so it might be worth looking at your phone system itself for a solution.

Sorry, it just sounded to me like the OP was looking for any phone with the DND feature. Seemed like a very straight forward answer.

Thank goodness we have Edugeek keeping the internet tidy
