cheaptonersucks Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 Hi, Moodle was previously installed using an installer called Bitnami and I have been told that Moodle cannot be made available outside school as IIS was not configured on the 2008 server. Does anyone know about Bitnami installers for Windows as I have never come across it before?

I'm affraid I don't know much about the Bitnami installer, although if you assign the server an external (Public) IP Address would that not work? We recently configured moodle on a vps running under linux, was pretty straight forward actually. 1
3s-gtech Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Your last thread had pretty much everything we know, with the same concensus. I'd be confident that what you were told is wrong - Moodle can be made to work outside school. Whether whoever told you knows how is another matter. 1
cheaptonersucks Posted December 10, 2017 Author Posted December 10, 2017 (edited) Thanks, I will pass this on as I don't have access to the servers as an admin due to not being the NM. Edited December 10, 2017 by cheaptonersucks
