Undermanager Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 I am at a primary school in Cambodia, very poor, no money for anything, very limited resources but we have 8 donated android tablets (mediatab t3 10 Huawei) and internet access, and they are brilliant for these students. I have set each one up using a unique email address for each one. Now i’ve done it, I was wondering whether I should have used the same email address for each one. I was thinking then that if I buy an app, I could download it successfully onto each tablet, whereas at the moment, I’d have to pay eight times. There are no copyright laws in Cambodia! What do you think? Is what I’m thinking possible to do, even if very slightly unethical (in the West)? Thanks
chrisakak9 Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 you could but im not sure if you are limited on the number of devices on an account. I would also look at setting them up in meraki mdm (free) to manage them, lock down and push out apps
pooley Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 Will work, log them in with the same google play store login and only pay the once.
chrisakak9 Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 (edited) Oh well, Meraki was a bit limited anyway which is my i moved to lightspeed. ManageEngine seemed promising but didn't trial it, i believe its still free. more suggestions on spiceworks https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/1970991-meraki-no-more-100-free-devices Edited November 17, 2017 by chrisakak9
DJ-1701 Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 There are no copyright laws in Cambodia! Errrr... you do have Laws since at least 2003 being in line and part of the WTO. Even if you didn't, I am sure the Terms and Conditions of use would be violated and a legal issue.
