Random one. I've just had this with a remoteapp connection. Used teamviewer to check, SIMS would load without issue then instantly minimise. When bringing it back up, its in a sort of "hung" state until resizing the window.

Even odder - it's absolutely fine with any other SIMS user. I can recreate the problem on the server itself as admin user. How on earth could a SIMS user cause this?

I've never been able to get to the bottom of the minimising SIMS remote app issue, if I load SIMS normally on the server it works and opens fine.

I do recall you'd get a hung state now and then and when you re-size the window it would work fine.

Still it's bug me for ages, and I've even tried a Windows Server 2019 RDS server which does the same.

Very strange

Never had the issue of it being minimised when loading through remoteapp.Only issue i've encountered is when the home screen come up, you sometimes have to double click the top bar of the SIMS window to make it full screen and display all the graphic interface.

It is strange, do you do anything different to me for the remoteapp?

Do you point it to Pulsar instead of SIMSload?

Yes, SIMS is installed on the server as normal, then point to pulsar.exe

I think somewhere there is a GPO regarding graphics which you might be able to try? Think it's called RemoteFX or something?
