Very tempted, i have 24TB's of data at home i need to backup and this might be the cheapest way.

One thing to be aware of is that the Archive HDD inside is very slow at rewriting data since it's an SMR drive.

 

Not a problem is you are just offloading data to it once and that's it.

 

I have two 8TB Seagate Archive HDDs I want to sell due to the poor performance.

Usually on Black Friday/CM you can pick them up for about £24. The cheapest I've seen so far was £33 this year
