Mr_Jiminy Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 (edited) Is to recommend me a monitor for £180 or under (strict budget)... Please and thank you. No gaming use, but would be nice to have something that presents sharp text. Interested in this iiyama: Iiyama Prolite XU2492HSU-B1 24" IPS Monitor The pricing of the following ASUS is tempting, although I can't see it being high-end: Asus VC279H 27" Full HD LED IPS Frameless Monitor. Has to have VESA mounting. Edited October 20, 2017 by Mr_Jiminy
DJ-1701 Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 https://www.beetronics.co.uk/7-inch-monitor Seriously though, what specs does the monitor need other than VESA mounting and crisp text? HDMI, VGA, DVI, between X and Y inch, etc.
Joanne Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 I use a 27" ASUS and it's far better than my other 24" Acer. I bought 27" ASUS monitors for office staff here. 1

JATSO Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Bought 2 of these for one of head teachers a couple of weeks ago. Dell UltraSharp U2414H 23.8 INCH LED 2xHDMI/MHL DP miniDP Black £170.03 210-ADUJ She loves it. 1
VeryPC_Colin_M Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 +1 for Dell. We've been upgraded here at VeryPC HQ with some Dell P2317H, they're Full HD IPS, with height adjust and such like, lots of I/O ports and really energy efficient; more expensive than the Iiyama but I highly recommend them. A snip at £140 + VAT delivered. 1
