[sims] SIMS InTouch - General Student Message - User Defined Groups

Hello all,

 

We have just started using InTouch and would like to be able to send a General Student Message (so we can make use of the Student tags to customise) to a user defined group. Our trips manager wants to send a passport reminder to students on the trip. They have setup a user defined group and added the students into this.

 

However, when we go to "Send Student Message" we don't get an option to send it to contacts of students within the User Defined Group. It seems this can only be achieved by using the "General Message" which doesn't have the functionality of adding Student tags.

 

Does anyone know if the above is possible? I really hope so as otherwise its very limited and isn't going to do everything we hoped it would.

Hi...yes it is.

 

In intouch under contacts there is a user defined option to click on (it'#s a drop down box)

 

To set up user defined groups.....go to FOCUS / USER DEFINED GROUPS...from here ou can set up a new user defined group
