Sims Support Specialist- P/T / Term Time only - £24k-£29k (pro rata)

This is a great opportunity for a SIMS Support Specialist who would ideally be interested in a part time / term time only position, although full time candidates may still be considered. You would be joining a leading Managed Service Provider within the Education Sector, who provide various services such as IT, finance and property management services and solutions.

 

The role;

· You will be supporting a number of Nursery, Primary and Secondary Schools, resolving technical queries around SIMS Modules and FMS, providing technical support on a 1^st / 2^nd Line level.

· You will be based on a service desk in Milton Keynes and be able to demonstrate the correct use of SIMS modules to Schools remotely, as well as performing SIMS upgrades and termly health checks.

· Any issues you could not resolve will need to be escalated to senior team members and in this position, there would be some supervisory responsibilities for other SIMS Support staff.

 

Core service support experience required around;

· SIMS . net and FMS Modules

· School Census

· Workforce return

· Key stage returns

· SOLUS 3 updates

· New functionality and fixes

· New IMS technologies (Software and hardware)
