The reason that M$ downgraded the detection of Claria/Gator is that M$ have put in a bid to buy them.

NOTE: I removed M$ Antispyware from 400+ machines 2 weeks ago as it is proving to be more of a hinderance than a help

I didn't bother with it (MS ASW) here as it didn't seem too networking friendly lol - aimed at home user methinks

 

The pop ups only serve to confuse people more, and it was popping up stuff with the GP changes lol - not particularly useful as then the user can block / Deny the change lol

lol There's so many different Claria types/variants which give them away as spyware to start off with.
