Shadow_Walker Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 For some reason mapped drives are not mapping for users. It seems to be random users as well so they might have problems in the morning go to another computer in the afternoon and it works. Any reason why this would be doing it?
DalekSec Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Either Group policy or user profile problem is my guess. Check there are no conflicts in group policy, and maybe find a test user which is doing the same thing and recreate the profile?
MrFrostmaul Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 We had a similar issue last week. It turned out to be a DNS issue, with it working correctly.. even though manually entering it on the computer worked fine. Try putting the server IP address instead of server name, done the trick for us while we look into the name issue of it.
the_quick Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Have you recently done any windows update. We had it lately, with one update for Win 7. It's just stopped drives to be mapped.
