Hey All!

Have kind of a wierd one that I just can't quite seem to figure out and was hoping someone out there may have a solution. So it seems that ever since I have reimaged our Lenovo Yoga 11e laptops with the 1703 image of Windows 10, I can't seem to get the auto-rotate feature to work automatically. It worked fine in previous version of Windows 10. More specifically, the feature I am referring to is where you can fold the screen back (its a 2-in-1 device) and Windows asks you to go into tablet mode. You say yes and the screen changes accordingly. However, if you rotate the screen (to go into tent mode for example), the screen will not rotate with you. Have tried various pieces of software from Lenovo with no luck until just a little bit ago when I realized a big clue. It seems that if I just press "Ctrl + Alt + Arrow key" to flip the screen just one time and then take it back to the "standard" rotation, I can flip the computer around and it rotates on its own just as it should! Now, that is also with NO extra lenovo software and no other changes being made! Also, if you reboot the computer, it loses the setting until you manually adjust the rotation, in which it will then start to rotate automatically again just as it should. I have several hundred of these models and could really use some help with this if anyone has an idea as to the cause or, even better, a solution.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Scott
