the bus to town arrived on Tuesday morning - on the dot

it returned in the afternoon - mostly

Job Centre wanted to know why she couldn't get the bus to work in the mornings!!!

So what happens during the couple of minutes it takes to get to and from your car, and to drive off the car park?

*For clarity: Common People is a city-based music festival that takes place in May over two days, on twin sites in Southampton and Oxford.

:p

Words may not be able to bring them down but a brick nearly did when one thieving gull knicked my pie on Llandudno sea front a few years ago

didn't actually throw it as I was still a teacher at the time at a school just down the road and the beach was full of people - though the idea of a teacher lobbing a brick at a gull on a crowded beach might not be the ideal image of a UK teacher

They really can be a total pest

Anybody complains, you’re just taking the gull back to school as an exhibit for the nature table. Sorted!
