Hi

I want to know if there is a solution with CISCO Controller or on AD etc to limit concurrent simultaneous logins

I want to allow a certain number of concurrent logins against an ID

 

any easy solution for it

Yes and no - our update will allow you to prevent multiple logins on the same ID and control the behaviour when this occurs ( prevent new login or automatically close original) - we don't offer any kind of quota , i.e allow this ID to login up to X times and then restrict further attempts.

with ad if you want quick and dirty you could always add a login script that checks for the existence of a file created when you logon and deleted at logoff and if it exists log em off

I believe the OP is referring to wifi connections not PC logins.

I don't have an answer either but hope I can get you in the right direction.

At a tech show last year extreme was advertising this technology but of course that isn't cisco.

Have you looked at Cisco's authentication server? It may have rules you can apply, I've switched my radius to NPS so haven't used it in a while.

 

I believe packetfence will do what you want, but I've never got around to setting it up.

UserLock is good but then what the logic of spending so much on firewalls, access points, proxy servers and AD when they cannot manage a small thing
