Migrate from onsite Exchange to Gmail

Hello everyone

 

I'm using the G Suite Migration For Microsoft Exchange tool but am having trouble connecting to our onsite Exchange server and I can't work out what to put in the Hostname/IP address section. Should it be what follows the @ in our email address? Google support have looked at the log files and say that everything should work. Can anyone help? Thanks

What's the external DNS name of your Exchange server? It won't necessarily be the domain after @ (though it's possible). I could be something like email.domain.county.sch.uk or ems1.academy.org. Worth looking at your external DNS or querying with whoever manages it.
