I was hoping to possibly see an offer on the Switch, but Amazon always seems to be out of stock on those (they really are selling well!) so I shall have to wait until Black Friday to see what comes up. IMO, £280 is just a bit too much for that device atm.

i just dont see them being discounted anytime soon from twitter my local game stores say they have em in then they are gone quickly enough that theres no need to flog em off cheap i suspect there wont be any cheap ones till next year tbh

I got:

San Disk 64GB SD card for £16.99

Anker 10000mah portable battery for £14 - not that I needed it but its an upgrade to my current one I take out on nights out. I have 5 battery packs now, I should be able to last three weeks just using them! Add in my solar charger and I can charge for months!

Chauvet Dj bag for £19.99 should be able to store all my cables etc in this bag rather than using a box.

If I had more money I would have spent loads!

I only got series 1-6 Bluray box set of GoT. Thought about the PS4 bundle for £179, by the time I talked myself into it in the afternoon, they'd all gone. Ah well. PC Master race anyway! Wanted a GTX1070 but they are madly priced atm. I was looking at £350 a few months ago, they were majority over £400 even in the sale yesterday!!!

There will be a lot of cheap graphics cards soon, the bitcoin mining has started to drop for various reasons. So be on the look out for used graphics cards that require new cooling fans!

TBH, I wouldn't trust buying any used GPU for the next 4-6 months. There's a considerably high likelihood that any used GPU you buy will have been thrashed extensively for Etherium mining. Its lifespan will be heavily impacted.

Not worth the risk though, majority of those cards will have been ROASTED.

I bought an Apple Watch Series 1 from PC World for £199.99, always wanted to try one but never fancied shelling out full whack but at that price I thought worth a punt

Amazon returns are very good, I had a faulty external hard drive and they literally refunded my money the second after I took it to the post office! Must have thought 'yep on the way now based on the tracking number might as well refund'

What's the warranty situation like with Curry's / PC World? When the watch breaks (see below) can you still take it to an Apple Store to get repaired for free?

If not, Apple charge £86.44 for out-of-warranty battery service. :(

Eek, swollen batteries on a wristwatch? Bad enough having phones that might explode near your nether regions, but the idea of losing a hand doesn't sound too fancy. Maybe Apple would be forced to give you a handjo.... hmm, what would they call replacing or repairing a hand, they can't call it that!

I bought my Apple watch from PC World as well when it was on sale, I phone apple and bought apple care over the phone to cover damages that day if you are tempted by it.
