mikkydoos Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 Hi all, Quick question I cant find an answer to. Need to do a restart.... Does restarting a print server clear the print queue ??? Got loads of jobs waiting in a Papercut virtual print queue. ???????? Cheers in advance
grahamd22 Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 highlight all the jobs and delete, some may still be held so just go into services and restart the spooler.

Cant do it whilst the server is on.
Big_Ted Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 If you are using PaperCut then a restart will keep the paused jobs. If you are using an old version then on a restart your clients will be reprompted about any shared accounts for their held jobs. This info is retained on a reboot in newer versions of PaperCut. 2
mikkydoos Posted June 13, 2017 Author Posted June 13, 2017 (edited) I've found the answer a couple of days ago -- it doesnt. Papercut retains the queue. @Big_Ted is spot on. Cheers all Edited June 13, 2017 by mikkydoos
